Job Title: Calibration Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a Calibration Technician to support calibration operations and compliance at a regulated manufacturing site in Nijmegen. This role is responsible for executing and coordinating both routine and non-routine calibrations, supporting qualification of new equipment, and ensuring timely and audit-ready documentation. You will play a key part in maintaining and improving the reliability of critical manufacturing and measurement systems used in the production of medical and other high-precision devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and coordinate timely execution of routine and non-routine calibration activities.
  • Approve calibration work orders and ensure on-time execution according to planning.
  • Support the calibration and qualification of new equipment, including setup in the calibration management system.
  • Initiate and support nonconformances identified during calibration activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to improve equipment records and preventive maintenance plans.
  • Contribute to the implementation of process and equipment improvements.
  • Maintain compliance and audit readiness across all calibration-related activities.
  • Support data entry and documentation in spreadsheets and database systems.
  • Adhere to all applicable safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the appropriate management level.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of calibration and measurement principles.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments and GMP compliance.
  • Skilled in using spreadsheets and database applications.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or English.
