About the Role: We are seeking a Calibration Technician to support calibration operations and compliance at a regulated manufacturing site in Nijmegen. This role is responsible for executing and coordinating both routine and non-routine calibrations, supporting qualification of new equipment, and ensuring timely and audit-ready documentation. You will play a key part in maintaining and improving the reliability of critical manufacturing and measurement systems used in the production of medical and other high-precision devices. Key Responsibilities:
Perform and coordinate timely execution of routine and non-routine calibration activities.
Approve calibration work orders and ensure on-time execution according to planning.
Support the calibration and qualification of new equipment, including setup in the calibration management system.
Initiate and support nonconformances identified during calibration activities.
Collaborate with Engineering to improve equipment records and preventive maintenance plans.
Contribute to the implementation of process and equipment improvements.
Maintain compliance and audit readiness across all calibration-related activities.
Support data entry and documentation in spreadsheets and database systems.
Adhere to all applicable safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the appropriate management level.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate degree (or equivalent) preferred.
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry preferred.
Strong understanding of calibration and measurement principles.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and GMP compliance.
Skilled in using spreadsheets and database applications.
Able to adapt to changing priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in Dutch and/or English.
