The Director of Scientific Data Delivery will lead regional engagement and delivery operations across biopharma and biotech. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team of data professionals responsible for driving successful implementation and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a regional team of Scientific Business Analysts and Data Architects
- Define and execute delivery strategies that accelerate time-to-value and ensure measurable scientific and operational impact
- Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to identify new opportunities and drive renewals and expansions
- Partner with Product and Engineering to align client feedback with product evolution and innovation
- Establish thought leadership with enterprise customers through data-driven scientific solutions
- Maintain strong executive relationships across client organizations and serve as a trusted advisor on scientific data transformation
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and high performance within the EMEA delivery team
- Travel as needed to customer sites across the region
Required Experience
- PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a Life Sciences field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Data Science)
- 15+ years of industry experience across discovery, preclinical, CMC, or quality functions within pharma, biotech, or health tech
- 10+ years in leadership roles managing scientific software, data, or analytics programs
- Proven success leading teams that deliver complex data or digital transformation projects in the Life Sciences sector
- Experience working with AI/ML, lab automation, and modern data architecture (FAIR principles desirable)
- Strong communication, executive storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to navigate high-complexity environments and drive customer success
- Background in fast-paced or startup settings is a plus.
