Location: Basel | Hybrid Work Option Start Date: ASAP About the Role: A well-established international company is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team on a 12-month contract in Basel. This position offers an excellent opportunity to take ownership of quality processes, support cross-functional teams, and help maintain high standards across operations. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily quality assurance activities and help ensure products and processes meet internal and external expectations
Maintain and improve quality systems, including documentation and procedures
Act as the main contact for internal reviews and external inspections or audits
Manage and resolve quality issues such as deviations, corrective actions, and process changes
Collaborate with teams such as production, operations, and development to support quality at all stages
Help guide documentation updates and process improvements
Provide training and guidance on quality-related topics
Support reporting, planning, and communication of quality metrics and improvements
Ensure local processes align with company-wide standards
Your Profile:
Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Regulatory Affairs, or a related disciplines
5+ years of experience in a quality-related role
Familiarity with quality systems, standards, and continuous improvement practices
Comfortable using business tools or platforms (e.g., ERP or quality software)
Fluent in English, German is a plus
Organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
