Amsterdam, Netherlands – Full-time (2-shift system)
For a leading pharmaceutical company specializing in the production of high-quality protein products within a GMP-controlled environment, we are seeking an experienced Senior Process Operator. Our state-of-the-art production site in Amsterdam supports advanced biotechnological processes with strict quality and safety standards.
As a Senior Process Operator, you will be responsible for independently operating, monitoring, and optimizing complex pharmaceutical production processes. You will work closely with fellow operators, team leaders, and the technical department to ensure efficient and safe production. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact within the team, support junior colleagues, and contribute to process improvements.
You will report to the team leader and work within a 2-shift system.
Starting up, operating, and monitoring automated processes using SCADA systems
Analyzing and resolving faults; taking preventive actions
Supervising compliance with GMP, environmental, and safety regulations, including instructing maintenance technicians
Performing physical tasks such as cleaning, assembling, and installing equipment
Responsible for accurate batch data registration and timely shift handover
Initiating and implementing process improvement projects
Coaching and mentoring junior operators within the team
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a process operator in a GMP-regulated environment
Affinity with process technology and a structured work approach
Good command of Dutch language, both spoken and written
Proactive, communicative, and team-oriented
Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
Flexible, eager to learn, with great attention to detail

Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: €3,500 - €5,000 gross per month + 15.41% shift allowance
