We are seeking a Sr. Associate, Global Clinical Supply Chain Planner / NAMP Procurement Specialist to join our biotech clients' Manufacturing and Clinical Supply (MSC) team. This role is critical in managing the end-to-end Source-to-Pay and Supply and Demand Planning processes for an assigned portfolio of Non-Medicinal Products (NAMP) supporting global clinical trials.
The Sr. Associate Clinical Supply Chain / NAMP Planner Buyer ensures optimal supply chain planning and execution, enabling timely delivery of critical clinical trial materials.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate product supply requirements into optimized global supply plans in collaboration with Clinical Product Setup Leads, Development Supply Chain Leads, and Global Study Planners.
  • Leverage demand forecasts, ERP systems, and supply planning tools to maintain patient supply continuity.
  • Perform market assessments to determine sourcing strategies for Non-Medicinal Products based on demand, availability, quality, pricing, and other critical factors.
  • Collaborate with vendors, partners, and supply chain teams to manage sourcing, labeling, packaging, and delivery processes.
  • Resolve sourcing, delivery conflicts, and invoicing issues to prevent disruptions to studies or milestones.
  • Partner with the Global Trade team to manage international shipments, including import-for-export processes.
  • Execute tasks such as SKU creation, master data updates, and purchase order creation in ERP systems.
  • Manage procurement processes via procurement tools, including requisition creation and reporting.
  • Initiate and maintain NAMP specification documents in document management systems.
  • Create and maintain trackers, dashboards, and digital collaboration tools to streamline operations.
  • Support cross-functional process improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Perform quarterly PO/invoice reconciliation and provide annual updates for ERP system costs and pricing.

Qualifications:

  • MSc or BSc or Experience in Operations/Life Science industry/Supply Chain/Procurement/Planning experience
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement of comparator products or GMP materials.
  • Proficiency with digital tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Tableau.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and procurement tools (e.g., Ariba).
  • Familiarity with document management systems such as Veeva Vault and PLM.
  • Strong expertise in supply and demand planning for clinical trial materials.
  • Solid analytical skills with knowledge of cost accounting.
  • Strong teamwork, negotiation, and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing transportation, including import/export processes for medicinal products.
  • Certifications such as APICS, ISM, or Lean/Six Sigma are a plus.
