We are seeking a Staff Signal Processing Engineer to lead the development of analytical software at the heart of a next-generation at-home diagnostics platform. This is a pivotal role on a growing software team building real-time, high-fidelity analysis tools for complex biosensor data—helping to unlock a new era of personalized health monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain performant signal processing code for time-series and spectral data captured from optical biosensors.
- Design robust data structures, statistical analysis tools, and visualization interfaces to support real-time diagnostics.
- Implement user-facing interfaces and GUIs using frameworks such as Dash and Jupyter.
- Build scalable backend systems and data models in AWS, contributing to schema design and API development.
- Collaborate with hardware, assay, and software teams to collect requirements, track progress, and deliver integrated tools.
- Create automated reporting pipelines and model tracking systems to support iterative assay and algorithm development.
- Contribute to team best practices through code documentation, CI/CD design, linting, and code formatting standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or scientific computing, preferably in a signal-heavy domain.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript for system integration and interface development.
- Strong experience developing signal processing tools in C, C++, or Rust for high-performance analysis.
- Familiarity with statistical and ML techniques, including SVMs, neural networks, and regression models.
- Experience designing data models, SQL schemas, and validation APIs in production environments.
- Solid grasp of modern VCS workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative software development practices.
