Merel began her career in hospitality as a managing director before discovering recruitment - a field that combined everything she was looking for: people, diversity, strategy, and sales. Panda’s ambitious and dynamic environment provided the perfect platform to bring those elements together.
Today, Merel leads Panda’s MSP Sales team as Partner and Head of the division. What energises her most is seeing people grow: helping her team step into new levels of success, and supporting clients in building long-term, scalable partnerships. In the niche world of MSP, she thrives on solving complex hiring challenges, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring delivery that clients can depend on time and again.

Outside of work, Merel balances her strategic mindset with two passions: challenging herself with high-level Sudoku puzzles, and putting her Sommelier Grade 3 certification to use by pairing the perfect wine on request.
